Sister of the Month
Each month, sisters send in nominations for someone that they think has exemplified Gamma Phi Beta's core values and deserves special recognition for showing what it truly means to be a sister of Gamma Phi Beta. We are so proud of each member of our chapter and these girls have gone above and beyond!
April 2014 - Allie Blinder
March 2014-
February 2014- Sophia Griesenauer
When thinking of Gamma Phi, Sophia instantly comes to mind. I honestly do not know someone who loves Gamma Phi as much as Sophia does. She knows every little fact and bit of information that gives GPhi such a special edge and she loves to share it with everyone. Sophia is one of the most selfless people that I know and one of the best sisters to represent us. Whenever I need a friend, for whatever reason, Sophia is there no questions asked. She has come countless times to pick me up when my shuttle comes back from the airport, never once complaining that it was late or that she had something else going on. As an out of state student, it is so touching to know I always, always have a friend to count on. When I'm having a rough day, like today for example, she shows up with homemade cupcakes. More specifically, today my car battery died which made me late for a meeting, and then prevented me from being able to stay too late at the SLC. Sophia picked me up without a problem and promised to pick me up at 2 AM when I finished studying. Every girl says they find a forever friend and their future bridesmaids when they join a sorority, but Sophia is actually that girl. She is the most supportive friend to have. For example, when I was accepted into Grady, she gave me a little gift box with a cupcake and my favorite candy. When I got an internship that I was really not anticipating, she celebrated with me as if it was her own. Sophia is a good sister of the month because she embodies the morales of our sorority so well. For all her love and loyalty, Sophia is one of the hardest workers I know.
